Hi, I’m Carlos — a Quality Engineer who thrives at the intersection of technical know-how and real teamwork. Over the years, I’ve learned that quality isn’t just about catching defects or following standards — it’s about solving problems, building trust, and helping teams deliver their best work.

I’m detail-driven and analytical by nature, which means I spot issues quickly and enjoy digging into the data to fix them. But what really defines me is how I work with people: collaborating across functions, leading projects, and keeping communication clear and practical.

I adapt easily to new technologies and evolving standards, and I always ground my decisions in ethics and responsibility. Whether I’m presenting data, resolving challenges, or connecting with customers, I bring a balance of technical skill and human touch to every situation.

Educated as a Mecatronic Engineer i am the perfect blend between Electronics and Mechanics.
I have spent over 10 years designing and machining parts and machinery for the industry, gaining in the process a whole bunch of knowledge and expertice, which i used later as a foundation to build my quality carrer on top.

Carrying the title of Quality Assurance Engineer, took many roles within the comnpany, such as SQE, NPI, IQC, and CQE. In this interesting position, i had to interact in the whole quality interactions possible, from the quality of the components and material comming into the processes, engineering in the transformation process, while taking care of the customer alerts and complaints. Providing me with the complete perpective of the manufacturing quality and the importance of it.

Corteks has being one of the major learning oportuninties in my carrer, being an anvisious enterprenurship, Dedicated to the design and manufacture of machinery for the transformation industry. Focused into the automation and testing, provided several servises as mechanical design, machining, test machinery manufacture, electric control and automation.

Responsabilities:

  • Served as the primary customer contact to address quality issues, adapt processes, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Manage Customer score cards and portals, kepping control over KPI and manteining healthy relations.

Knologix is a iniative to share and expand the knoledge aquired along my career in a webapplication composed of a blog with articles related to Engineering, Industry and technology serving as a bank of knowledge for professional and the curious.
The core of the application will be an interactive set of tools that will aid and facilitate the work of problem solvers and time managers.

CORTEKS

Corteks is an enterprenurship started in 2015 with the finality of providing the industry with a local source of mechanical design and machinery assembly, automation solutions as of lecectrical and logical control.

HELL O WINGS

Hell o wings was a small chicken wings and burger restaurant, with a funny ambient and a freacky character mascot. Hello O Wings did very good during the working period. Althou is out of bussiness, there are planes to reopen in a close future.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

In parallel with my career in quality engineering, I am actively developing software and technical skills to strengthen my ability to automate processes, analyze data, and build practical tools. My learning focus includes C++, Rust, and Python for system-level programming and scripting, as well as web development using Node.js and React with an emphasis on clean architecture and user-centered UX/UI design. This ongoing development enhances my analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to bridge quality, engineering, and modern digital solutions

AI NATIVE DEVELOPER

I am an AI-Native Developer, in other words: i am a software engineer who builds applications with AI deeply integrated into their workflow—using AI tools to generate, optimize, and maintain code as a natural part of the development process.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard developed by Anthropic that lets AI models securely connect to external data, tools, and APIs, providing richer context and enabling more useful, controlled interactions.

Firebase Studio is a cloud-based, AI-augmented development environment by Google that enables you to prototype, build, and deploy full-stack AI-infused apps—using Gemini as your assistant, templates, and seamless integration with Firebase services.

n8n is an open-source workflow automation tool that lets you connect apps, APIs, and services with minimal coding. It provides a visual editor to build workflows for automating tasks, data transfers, and integrations across different platforms.

NotebookLM is an AI-powered notebook & research assistant from Google that becomes an “expert” on your own documents. You upload sources (PDFs, Google Docs, web pages, etc.), and it can summarize, answer questions, generate study guides, and even produce podcast-style audio overviews anchored in your materials.

LINUX ADMIN & LABBER

I actively use Linux as my primary working environment, centered on Arch Linux and a highly automated, efficiency-driven setup. This ecosystem allows me to script workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and maintain precise control over system behavior—an approach that closely mirrors quality principles such as standardization, error prevention, and continuous improvement.

Through managing a personal Linux-based home lab, I work with virtualization, local service deployment, version-controlled configurations, and automated processes that resemble CI/CD pipelines. This experience strengthens my ability to think in terms of system reliability, root-cause analysis, and process optimization, directly supporting my work in quality engineering, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.
